New paintings, and new colours. I find it interesting to see more pastels and pinks appearing in my work lately. I'm trying to recreate the colours of my favourite kind of sky... when the colours blend from pink and greys at the horizon to rich navy blues above.
I had a dream in which I was watching pink fireworks recently, so I decided the next work in my "Backyard" series should have a sky filled with fireworks.
