400

400 paper cranes, and a growing pile of birds folded and waiting. For the time being I've had to ignore the mathematics of making 1000 in a year (83 and a third cranes per month means there should have been 583 finished by the end of July!), and accept that it has been particularly busy lately for lots of great reasons and there will be lots of lovely quiet catching-up weekends to come.

Wow, they remind me my school days. I have done many origami cranes but have never made that much! I guess I did not have that patient like you do. xm

Beautiful. Don't stress about how many so far. Like you said, just enjoy the process, knowing it will all happen in time.

Wow, I love this! How are they attached to the string, and where are they attached? Is this something for your home?
