Keeping my hands busy..

I've been a (little more than usual) obsessed with colour lately, which you can see in my crochet projects.

Colourful bunting, which will be used for our local Jumpers and Jazz in July festival.

Cushions for Ruby, who loves rainbow colours as much as I do. I still have to finish the square one.

The start of a blanket, in beautiful chunky organic cotton.

And lots of teeny squares for a project called Tetris Psychedelia, which will be worn by a tree this winter. More to come as it progresses!

Anyway, that's what I've been up to in the yarny area :)
Also have some painting/mixed media/papercraft work to share, but that will be another post.
By the time I've uploaded photos to facebook, flickr and ravelry, I seem to forget to post them on this blog. I wonder if I should let it go? Is anyone reading, anyway?

I'm reading here and on FB. I love your use of colour but I am sure I have said that before. Still working away on squares....lots of little squares (I do seem to prefer the 6 round ones though)

I am! :-) And I'm loving your colourful crochet. But I also come across you on Flickr, so... you can post your pics and news on both or just one... either way... whatever suits you, of course! :-)

I came across your blog from a Facebook page that I liked, and thought after reading your post that maybe i suggest something to you. There are TONS of plugins out there that let you post to almost all your social places in one big swoop.

Im not sure how you edit your pics, if you use Lightroom, you can upload to multiple places there, and you can get plugins for your blog that will post to your faacebook, twitter and possibly revelry as well.

Good luck! your work is beautiful!

Don't stop the blog - I love to read little tidbits behind the photos - makes it seem more human, more real! The words inspire, and the pictures captivate.

I love all of your color and I crochet myself and enjoy doing color in my stuff too. Where do you get your yarn? I can never seem to find this much variety.

I have collected lots of yarn over the years, but the favourite one I keep coming back to is from Biggan Design, an Australian company. It's lovely to work with, and comes in a beautiful selection of colours. Hope that helps!
