What the world needs now....

When I was posting about festivals in the last entry, I forgot about this one. The peace festival started in Warwick in 2005, and is a biennial event. I'm so looking forward to the next one. Here's a dodgy layout I did about 18 months ago, with photos from the last peace festival.

And also in the interest of peace and love and all the good things, some ATCs I finished on the weekend:

And some quotes:

If in our daily life we can smile, if we can be peaceful and happy, not only we, but everyone will profit from it. This is the most basic kind of peace work.
Thich Nhat Hanh

One of my favorite philosophical tenets is that people will agree with you only if they already agree with you. You do not change people's minds.
Frank Zappa

If you are judging, you are too busy to love.
Mother Teresa

Peace is not something you wish for, it's something you make, something you do, something you are, and something you give away.
Robert Fulghum

Other people do not have to change for us to experience peace of mind.

Your ATC's are to die for, Rett. You're pretty skillful when it comes to the ol' sewing machine, aren't you!? :)
