Thank you

to everyone who commented on my post about Max's sleeping habits. I loved reading about your experiences and I really appreciate the reassurance that doing what feels right is usually the right thing to do :-)

A layout to share - my BB portal one - about my pending mid-life crisis. I'm getting in early and planning it now, because it's going to be a good one!

The tattoo is more Pete's idea than mine - He wouldn't get one himself but would like to live vicariously through me I think. I love the idea of tattoos as a permanent reminder of a place, experience or feeling - but I don't know how to decide on the one thing that I could wear for the rest of my life. This one's nice though, don't you think?

I highly recommend that you get one of those temporary tatoos first - you know the ones that last a few weeks - my dh and I got one while we were in Bali a few years back. I had this adorable ring of daisies around my right ankle. I felt rebelious, cool, radical - actually not like me at all - but for the brief time that I had it, I loved it. The fact that I had to wear trousers to work every day until it wore off was a pain and also having to scrub it off my ankle with a nail brush the night before my sister in laws wedding day because I didn't want to have it in her wedding photos was no fun either. So, I say... go the tattoo but make it a temporary one first to see if you love it. I did (hehe).

Gosh this rocks!! I want a tat but don't know where to get it - I want a star, I want it somewhere it is easy to see [ie not on my bum ROFLMAO!!] but also easy to cover up also...

I actually want to get it on the base of my hair line at the back of my neck... one day ;)
